If you don’t have Two-Factor Authentication disabled on your Instagram account, LIVEpigeon will not be able schedule LIVE content to your Instagram profile.
This is because LIVEpigeon won't be able to connect to your Instagram account without manual confirmation on the scheduled date of your live stream, which is not possible to do on the backend of our system.
• Follow these steps to disable Two-Factor Authentication through the Instagram Mobile App:
Step 1: Open Instagram Mobile App & Login
This will require the use of a mobile device. Login to your Instagram account you wish to go LIVE with on the Instagram mobile app.
Step 2: Click on the menu in the top right corner
• Once logged in, click on your profile picture in the bottom right to view your own profile.
• Click on the hamburger menu in the top right
Step 3: Click on "Settings"
From the pop-up menu, click on the "Settings" button
Step 4: Click on "Security"
Inside of "Settings" click on "Security"
Step 5: Click on "Two-Factor Authentication"
Click "Two-factor Authentication"
Step 6: Disable all security options
Here you will see all of your options for Two-factor Authentication. To ensure that it is disabled, turn off all 3 options.
And there you go! You have disabled Two-Factor Authentication and should now have an easier time getting your content out using LIVEpigeon. You can re-enable this security option after your LIVE video has finished, or keep it turned off if you plan to do more in the future.
