Hello LIVEpigeon users! We are really excited to share about what's available in this new update! Here is the list of changes we made in LIVEpigeon's latest update:

  • Reworked Top Bar
    • Made Smart Embed button larger
    • New Announcements Button
      • This will replace the old notifications button
      • We can now send customized notifications to our users for new announcements or features!
  • New Smart Embed functionality
    • You can now add a video or photo to display Before/After your LIVE video has finished
  • Destinations Tab Updates
    • You can now rename your Destinations for better organization!
    • Users will now be notified when YouTube Destinations need to be verified for LIVE Videos
      • We have had many users be confused when trying to go LIVE to a newly added YouTube channel, just for it to not work. We are increasing the software communication so users can know when and what problems are.
Note: Users might experience false error pop-ups when going LIVE to YouTube until they remove and then reconnect their channel as a Destination. So sorry for the inconvenience!
  • Incubator Tab Update
    • Improved Incubator Organization
      • We have removed the dividers inside Incubator to create a more streamlined look. They will still be ordered by type (Saved/Playlist/Normal).
      • Updated look for Playlists to be more clear and in line with the rest of the Incubator
  • Updated Video Editing Functionality in Incubator
    • Ability to trim videos more precisely
      • You can now input the exact timecode where you want a cut to occur
    • Clearer and streamlined interface
      • Moved all controls for video playback to the same spot
      • You can now scrub the timeline of a video with a Playhead
    • Added Keyboard shortcuts for ease of use
      • I: Set in point, O:Set out point

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed autofilling problem with search bar in "Add Facebook Group/Page" popup window
  • Fixed “Not a video file” error when uploading from Google Drive
  • Fixed issue with long Destination names in Scheduled Tab
  • Fixed "Username Field Required" bug when attempting to Login to Instagram
  • Fixed bug where users sometimes couldn't schedule comments inside Incubator
  • Fixed bug causing users unable to proceed after Editing their Title and Description in Go LIVE Now
  • Fixed old “Incomplete Pigeon” image in Scheduled Tab
  • Fixed "Authorization Error" when connecting to YouTube
  • Fixed incorrect "Add Destination" layout on Dashboard
  • Fixed video upload getting stuck in Incubator
  • Fixed YouTube LIVE's not ending when pre-recorded video finishes
