In this article, we are going to give you step by step instructions on how to go live to Youtube.


8 Steps to Going LIVE on YouTube

  • Step 1: Go to the Dashboard and Click Video File
  • Step 2: Select Either Go Live Now or Scheduled
  • Step 3: Select the Time You Want it to Go LIVE
  • Step 4: Type in a Title and Description for your Video Going LIVE
  • Step 5: Select the YouTube channel(s) you want to go LIVE to
  • Step 6: Select Where you want to Upload your Video From
  • Step 7: Select the Video you Want to Go LIVE
  • Step 8: Go to the Scheduled Tab or Go LIVE Tab, to verify that your Video is Scheduled or LIVE


Step 1: Go to the Dashboard and Click Video File

  • From the dashboard, Select Video File.



Step 2: Select Either Go Live Now or Scheduled

  • If you select Go LIVE Now, it will go LIVE upon completion.  If you select schedule you will be able to choose a future time that the video will go LIVE.  In this example we will Schedule.  



Step 3: Select the Time You Want it to Go LIVE

  • Now you can choose the date and time that you want your video to go LIVE, use the calendar to select the date and then the arrows to change the time.  Then click, Schedule.


If you Selected Go LIVE NOW, this screen will not come up, (you have already selected your time, now) continue to step 4



Step 4: Type in a Title and Description for your Video Going LIVE

  • Write in a title and description for your video.  If you are having trouble coming up with creative ideas, you can put in a couple of simple ideas and then use the Generate Ideas button.  This will bring a couple options of titles to choose from and/or a description to use.  Then click Next.


Step 5: Select the YouTube channel(s) you want to go LIVE to

  • Here you can select the destinations that you want your video to go LIVE to.  In this example we are only going to do one YouTube channel but you could do various.  Use the Add Destination button to use a new YouTube channel.  


Step 6: Select Where you want to Upload your Video From

  • You can use any of the options that you see in the picture below.  You can also drag and drop your video onto the screen.  In this example we are going to use the Incubator.  


Step 7: Select the Video you Want to Go LIVE

  • This is only if you selected the Incubator.  All the videos and playlists that you have in your incubator will appear.  If you choose a different option, select the video you want to go LIVE in screen that comes up.  


Step 8: Go to the Scheduled Tab or Go LIVE Tab, to verify that your Video is Scheduled or LIVE

  • On the lefthand side of the page, the forth option is LIVE now or Scheduled, depending. on which one you picked in step 2
