Instagram has now added the ability to use a Stream Key with their app. We will walk you through how to use that feature in junction with LIVEpigeon!
This method does NOT work with scheduling. You will have to go LIVE at the time you want to be LIVE.Open Instagram on your browser and select "Create" then "Live Video"
Now add the title and select "Next"
Now that this page is open, go to a New Tab and login to LIVEpigeon
Once inside of LIVEpigeon, go to the "Destinations" Tab
Select "Add Destination"
Now choose the Instagram option, then select LIVE Producer
Now copy the Stream URL from Instagram into the respective fields inside of LIVEpigeon
Click "Add Destination" to save
Now select a video to go LIVE with and go through the flow inside of LIVEpigeon
Make sure your video will display properly on Instagram. We recommend using a Vertical video when going LIVE to Instagram.
Once on the "Choose your Destination" page, select your Instagram Stream Key. Go back to Instagram to copy the Stream Key and then paste it in
Once the video is going LIVE in LIVEpigeon go back to your Instagram and click the "Go Live" button
Now your video should be Live on Instagram!
